The multiple level menu system used here was written by Ger Versluis. It is available for use on both commercial and non commercial sites from DynamicDrive.com, and is known as HV Menu v5.5. Click here to go to the download page.

The Javascript code that actually runs the menu is way beyond my understanding. Fortunately all I've needed to master was the user documentation so that I could adjust the look and colours of the beast, and properly create the arrays of menu item information needed to feed it.

A feature of this menu system is that every item at every level leads to a page. I use this feature at the higher levels to provide a few sentences to describe each item on the next level down.
